Function: technical executive producer
The Dutch city of Leeuwarden has been chosen by the European Cultural Commission in Brussels / Belgium to act and be the European Cultural Capital of 2018. For this purpose an exciting activity program will be tailor made for the entire year. One of the amazing highlights will be the creation & presentation of 11 contemporary art fountains in the 11 participating cities; all on a permanent basis. These fountains will be styled and shaped by 11 well known (inter)national artists. The 11 chosen cities (Leeuwarden, Dokkum, Harlingen, Franeker, Hindelopen, Workum, Stavoren, Sloten, Sneek, IJlst and Bolsward) are the same 11 cities that are part of the famous „Friesland” ice skate tour of 220 km.
